Legal
Privacy Policy
Effective November 5, 2026
The short version:
- Your answers on the question form never leave your device. They are saved only in your own browser so you can come back to them. We never see them.
- We only collect what you choose to give us: your email if you join the update list or set a trial alert, the location you type for a trial alert, and payment details if you support the site (handled by Stripe, not us).
- We don't sell your information, we don't use advertising trackers, and we don't set advertising cookies.
- You can unsubscribe from any email in one click, and you can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Who we are
EndoPrompt (endoprompt.com) is run by Sheree Wynn, an individual based in California, USA. In this policy, "EndoPrompt," "we," "us" and "our" mean Sheree Wynn as the operator of the site. You can reach us at endoprompt@yahoo.com; see the Contact page for more.
What we never collect
- Question form answers. Everything you type into the question form (symptoms, history, notes, your questions for your doctor) is stored only in your own browser's local storage on your device. It is not sent to us or anyone else. When you print or save it as a PDF, that happens on your device too. Clearing your browser's site data, or using the form's reset option, removes it.
- Diagnosis or medical records. There is no place on the site to submit them, and we never ask.
- Card numbers. Payments go through Stripe's secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card details.
What we collect, and why
| When you… | We collect | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Visit any page | Anonymous counts of actions (for example "page viewed," "form started," "form printed"), the page path, and a random ID stored in your browser so we can estimate unique visitors. Vercel, our host, also records aggregate page-view statistics and standard server logs, which include IP addresses. | To understand how many people use EndoPrompt and which parts help. None of this includes your form answers. |
| Join the email update list | Your email address, which page or popup you signed up from, and when. | To send you a welcome email and occasional updates about endometriosis research, clinical trials and EndoPrompt. |
| Search the trial finder | The city or ZIP code you type is converted to map coordinates so we can sort studies by distance. It is used for that search and not stored. | To show studies near you. |
| Set a trial alert | Your email, the location you typed and its map coordinates, how far you'd travel, whether you want remote studies, and how you found the alert page (for example a link you clicked). | To email you weekly when a new study opens near you. |
| Make a support payment | From Stripe, we receive your email, the amount and currency, and a payment reference number. Stripe collects your card and billing details directly. | To process the payment, send a thank-you and receipt, keep tax and accounting records, and handle refunds or disputes. |
| Email us | Your email address and whatever you write. | To reply to you. |
A note about health information
We don't ask for health information, and the forms that send anything to us (email sign-up, trial alerts, payments) don't ask about your health. We know, though, that joining an endometriosis email list or trial alert could suggest you or someone close to you is affected. We treat that as confidential: we use it only to send you what you asked for, and we never sell it, rent it or share it for advertising.
Browser storage (instead of cookies)
EndoPrompt doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage to:
- save your question form answers on your device so they're there when you come back;
- keep the random visitor ID used for the anonymous counts above;
- remember that you closed or answered a popup, so we don't keep showing it.
You can clear all of this at any time in your browser's settings. Stripe's checkout page may use its own cookies for security and fraud prevention; see Stripe's privacy policy.
Who helps us run the site
We use a small number of service providers. Each receives only what it needs to do its job for us:
- Vercel hosts the website and provides aggregate web analytics.
- Neon hosts our database (email list, trial alerts, payment records and anonymous counts).
- Resend delivers our emails.
- Stripe processes support payments.
- OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) converts a city or ZIP code you type into map coordinates for trial searches and alerts.
- Google Fonts serves the site's fonts, which means your browser connects to Google when a page loads.
Clinical trial information comes from the public ClinicalTrials.gov database, and we use an AI service to draft plain-language summaries of those public listings. No visitor information is sent to either.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the safety of anyone, or to investigate fraud.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information, and we don't "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as California law defines those terms.
- We don't use advertising networks, retargeting pixels or social media trackers.
- We don't add people who support the site to the email list unless they sign up for it themselves.
How long we keep it
- Email list and trial alerts: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. After you unsubscribe we keep a record of your address marked "unsubscribed" so we don't email you again by mistake. Ask us and we'll delete it entirely.
- Payment records: as long as needed for tax and accounting, generally up to seven years.
- Anonymous usage counts: kept in aggregate; they can't be tied back to you.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe: every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- See, correct or delete your information: email endoprompt@yahoo.com from the address you used with us. We'll respond within 45 days, usually much sooner. We may need to confirm the request came from you.
- Payment records: we may need to keep some payment records for legal and tax reasons even after a deletion request, but we'll stop using them for anything else.
California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it (this policy describes it); to request a copy of it; to request correction or deletion; and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We don't sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we don't use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. We honor Global Privacy Control signals. You or an authorized agent can make a request by emailing endoprompt@yahoo.com.
Children
EndoPrompt is an educational resource and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us their email, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
The site uses HTTPS everywhere. Payment details are handled by Stripe. Our service keys are stored on the server and never sent to browsers, and access to our database and admin tools is limited and passphrase-protected. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you share with us and we collect as little as we can.
Links to other sites
EndoPrompt links to outside sites such as ClinicalTrials.gov, study websites and news sources. Their privacy practices are their own; please review their policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll tell subscribers by email before it takes effect.
